I specialise in fertility acupuncture and reproductive health, supporting women, men and couples who are trying to conceive naturally or through IVF, ICSI or IUI.
Fertility can become complicated very quickly. There may be test results to understand, decisions about treatment, previous unsuccessful cycles, questions about whether everything relevant has been investigated, and the emotional strain of living with uncertainty month after month. My approach is to look at the whole picture rather than treating fertility as a single issue.
I take time to understand your fertility and medical history, menstrual cycle, previous treatment and relevant investigations, including blood tests, scans and semen analysis. Where appropriate, we can also identify areas that may be useful to investigate further or discuss with your fertility clinic or medical team.
I work with people at many different stages of their fertility journey, from those who are just beginning to try to conceive to those preparing for or undergoing assisted conception. I have a particular interest in complex fertility cases, including unexplained infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, recurrent implantation failure and previous unsuccessful IVF cycles.
Male fertility is an important part of my practice and should not be an afterthought. When I work with couples, I prefer to consider both partners from the outset. This may include reviewing semen analysis and discussing whether further male fertility investigation could provide useful information.
I also recognise that fertility treatment is not simply a physical process. The waiting, uncertainty, difficult decisions and repeated cycles of hope and disappointment can take an enormous emotional toll. Alongside my acupuncture training, I have a Master’s degree in Psychology and am a Cognitive Hypnotherapy Master Practitioner, with additional training in NLP and trauma-informed approaches. Where helpful, this allows us to work with anxiety, overwhelm, unhelpful thought patterns and the emotional impact of fertility treatment alongside the physical aspects of fertility care.
You don’t have to choose between talking about what is happening physically and talking about how you are coping with it. Both can matter.
My aim is to help you make sense of your individual fertility picture, identify what may be useful to address, and provide knowledgeable, practical and compassionate support as you navigate the process.
I also offer comprehensive online fertility consultations for individuals and couples who would like a fresh perspective on their fertility journey, whether or not they are having acupuncture with me. We can review your fertility and medical history, previous treatment, blood tests, scans, semen analysis and other relevant investigations, looking at the overall picture and identifying questions, possible gaps or areas that may be worth discussing further with your fertility clinic or medical team.
The consultation can also provide space to think through treatment options and next steps, particularly when there is a lot of information to process or you are unsure what to do next.
I practise in Marylebone, Central London.
